I want to thank everyone who has contacted me with an interest in our kennel. My hounds are a big part of my life and I feel like they all have somthing to offer the coonhound world. I consider myself an amatuer handler, trainer, and breeder. I have a knowledge the animals themselves, their bloodlines, and the ability to handle and train them but I am not a "professional" by my own standards. It is somthing I greatly enjoy doing and will strive to improve on. My dogs are competed in select events due to my work and school schedule, so I dont make it to as many events as I wish I could. I am a member of the Treeing Walker Breeders and Fanciers Association, American Plott Association, PKC, Alabama State Coonhunters Association, American Coonhunters Association, Tuscaloosa Kennel Club (TKC, which is the AKC local chapter club), and the Purina Pro Plan Club.
We feed and recomend Purina dogfood. Our adult hounds eat Purina High Pro during hunting season, Pedigree Complete Adult Formula during the summer, and our puppies each Purina Large Breed Puppy Chow. We personaly use and highly recommend Dr. Harold Threadgill at Bryant Dr. Animal Hospital in Tuscaloosa, AL as our vet.
